Throughout the year, MANY things are needed. This is a list we’ve started & there will be LOTS more changes/additions to it:
JANUARY
School Supplies (I've heard it runs anywhere from $100-$180/year per child that a family MUST pay for for their children’s uniforms & school supplies. That's practically 1/2 a months salaries for many poor families!)
Food Staples (BASICS: Rice, Beans, Powdered Milk, Powdered Drink Mix, Salt, Lizano, Cooking Oil, Boxed Milk, Boxed Juice, Corn Flour, Sugar, Canned Tuna [they seem to like the Tico type with vegetables], Baby Formula, etc. Check out the CR Humanitarian Foundations Food Bank Needs).

Sports Equipment (Soccer items from balls to cleats, old uniforms, etc.)
